Lemon Libation to Love the Liver

1 whole organic lemon, sliced thin with skin, seeds removed

1.5 cups warm water

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon flax oil

Blend all ingredients well then sip slowly and enjoy. This works best on an empty stomach in the morning or as an afternoon boost of energy.

Sounds a bit strange, but it has a lovely milky flavor with a touch of lemon. The lemon skin is full of vitamin C and bioflavonoids that help keep skin strong and boosts the immune system. The combination of oil and lemon in this drink improves digestion and bile flow to clean out the bowels and keep your gallbladder healthy. *Warning – if you have gallbladder problems then seek nutritional support before adding extra oil.
