Healthy Soothing Jell-O

Jell-O is made by combining a sweet liquid and gelatin and letting it cool. If you've ever made bone broth and it turned into a thick gelatin in the fridge - that's the same thing, minus the sugar water and dye.


  • 1 cup Cherry Juice or other healthy fruit juice

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey or manuka honey for extra ant-viral activity

  • 1 tablespoon gelatin

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan, cold and bring to a simmer while stirring to dissolve. Refrigerate until it forms a Jell-O.


Add any other combination of herbs depending on who you're making the Jell-O for.

  • Elderberry and echinacea for immune health

Jell-O can be consumed on the liquid diet preparation for a colonoscopy. It's very helpful for cancer and chemotherapy as the gelatin provides helpful glutamine to heal the mouth and gut lining.
